We are thinking about releasing a small utility application which we use in house here at SPACE. Our Screen Capture Format utility allows you to easily change the default file format for screen captures on your Mac to any one of these nine options: Png [default], Psd, Jpg, Pdf, Tif, Gif, Bmp, TGA and Jp2. It also allows you to change the default location in which the screen captures are saved on your machine so that your desktop does not end up covered in files. Canada region Date bug…
We have been alerted to a problem with the short date used by TimeBandit X when your Region is set to Canada in the Mac OS – System Preferences – Language & Text – Formats. When using TimeBandit X V.5.0 in Canada you will need to Customize your Short date by changing the year format to 4 figures [2010] instead of the standard 2 figures [10], this will allow the date up/down buttons to function correctly in the Job Information window. We will address this issue with the next maintenance release of TimeBandit X. This bug affects both the trial [e] version and the full version of the software.
TimeBandit X v.5.0 Released
The wait is over as today, 15th February 2010, we have released version 5.0 of our TimeBandit X software.
TimeBandit X v.5.0 has been completely re-written for Intel based Macs and is tested to work on Mac OS X 10.5 and Mac OS X 10.6 [Snow Leopard]. This re-write has provided improved performance and has allowed us to wipe out any remaining bugs from the old software. We have added a couple of new features too – One of the most requested was to add the ability to print or export all data from a timesheet for a particular client. You’ll be glad to know this has been included.
If you’d like to get your hands on a copy, it’s available to purchase now from our shop on this site. We have two versions available; one for existing licence holders to upgrade to the new version and one for brand new customers. If you’d like to try before you buy then we have a FREE shareware trail version for you to download on the Downloads page. This trial version is fully functional, except you are limited to 5 entries in your timesheet and you can not print or export any of the data from your timesheets.
